Welcome to the Clarity Visual Management FAQ. We’ve made a helpful list of some of the most common questions we get asked here at Clarity so you browse them whenever you need to and gain some further information about our business, rather than spend time calling or emailing us. We are constantly adding to this part of our site to make it even better for our clients so if you don’t see your question here, or you simply need some further information, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Participants will receive details of any pre-reading along with details of tools, resources and further research opportunities for each workshop.
A package of workshop learning for your team, running concurrently or across a series of workshop events, can be created. Plus, our OpEx Foundation covers a huge number of essential Lean, continuous improvement and operational excellence topics.
We’ll be happy to discuss the options for on-site workshops (recommended) versus workshops held in a central location to allow colleagues from various sites to attend.
In short: call us to discuss your needs. A very small group, even individuals, may be able to join an existing workshop while large groups of any size can be accommodated. To keep workshops hands-on we may recommend a maximum group number for some topics.
We specialise in visual management … both consultancy and products. In order to get the full benefit of our services we take an in-depth look at your business’s Lean programme and workplace and suggest how it could benefit from using visual management in order to exceed expectation. Once we have established what exactly can be improved, we then provide a comprehensive range of products to support you and your business in order to meet and exceed its Lean goals.

Absolutely! Our Visual Management Advisors are trained Lean practitioners who spend their time visiting clients and suggesting ways in which they can help raise the level of visual management in the workplace. Besides their formal training, and perhaps more importantly, this gives them a huge amount of hands-on experience across all types of industry, and they welcome the opportunity to share ideas and suggestions.
An initial visit from an advisor is free of charge. Subsequent visits may be chargeable at our discretion although this would not normally be the case.
An Excel spreadsheet or Powerpoint is ideal, but our design team are experts in designing visual management and can work with very vague instructions, such as a sketch, photo or written description. Obviously, a clear brief initially reduces the time taken and the number of amends, and therefore the artwork costs … but we know that designs evolve and a defined brief is not always possible.
We have lots of clients who kindly allow us to bring potential clients to their workplace to see the work we have done. Please contact us with your location and particular area of interest and we will match your requirements to our list of possible venues.
Yes! We are very happy to arrange for a training session on visual management for your team. We would discuss beforehand the subjects to be covered and examples to be demonstrated and provide an agenda. There is a charge for this service, but we find it hugely benefits a team to all have the same training at the same time and would recommend this as an excellent way of boosting your visual management programme.
Certainly … we are very familiar with this situation and will undertake to ensure that all our artwork conforms with these.
For the best results, we prefer vector-based .EPS, .AI or .PDF files. We can also use raster-based .TIF, .JPG, .PNG or .PSD files. Please provide the best quality, largest image size that you have as the final print quality depends on the quality of the artwork. Your marketing or design department should be able to help with this.
Thank you for suggesting this! We see this as a great way of sharing knowledge and spreading the benefits of Lean and visual management, and welcome guest posts that conform to our guidelines. We would be very happy to send you a copy of these. Please download a copy of our Blog Guest Posting Guidelines here before emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
