Our Client came to us as their current layout and storage solutions within their workshop were a significant constraint. They had inadequate tool control and workspace utilisation for the large number of processes and engineering works they required for their operators to carry out in this space. Another challenge they had were employee locker and storage space with secure locking provision. We carried out a discovery phase to carry out a survey of the existing design and storage solutions that were being used.

From there, we then moved into the Design phase, where we worked closely with their engineering project manager and senior site managers, and created a final design. This incorporated bespoke personal lockers for each engineer with their own individual locking drawer for storage of their tools and personal belongings, and lockers for their personal PPE equipment and clothing.
Clarity delivered custom, heavy-duty worktops with pre-mounted vices, tool control locking storage and ergonomic heavy-duty rubber floor heat-resistant matting to provide a cohesive, efficient working area. This provided the client with improved storage for both personal and work items, and a clean work environment, utilised for maximum space.
